Meet Team Smart Apples!

Team Smart Apples from the University of Colorado Computer Science department created the BATP Collect app. L-R Priscilla Trevino, Vanessa Reyes, Connor Horn, Edward Alder, and Salvatore Pacifico.

Team Smart Apples has worked all year as part of their senior capstone to create a data collection app that seamlessly connects with our interactive map. This group worked together creatively and constructively to deliver a fantastic app to the Boulder Apple Tree Project. While most of the work was conducted via zoom we were able to meet together twice in person! Well done Smart Apples!

Become A Contributor With The BATP Collect App!

Get Involved! Help the BATP to locate, measure, and document the apple trees near you. If the apple tree is not on your property, be sure to have permission from the landowner prior to uploading information. You will also have the opportunity at the end of the measurement survey on the app to opt-in to sharing your data with nationwide Fruit RegisTREE. Instructions for downloading the app can be found on our website.
